Joe & Vinnie's Pizza is a family-owned shop in Warrenton, Virginia, built on fresh daily preparation and more than three decades of feeding the same community. Vincenzo Giambanco started it, and he's still here.

From Carini to Virginia

Vincenzo Giambanco grew up in Carini, a coastal town in the province of Palermo, Sicily. He immigrated to Manassas, Virginia at twenty-seven, with the goal of making a life in the United States.

Nine years in the trade

Vinnie went to work for Joe and Jack Russo, the original owners of Joe's Pizza and Subs, and spent nine years learning the business from them. When the Warrenton store became available, he bought it in March 1988.

The name change in 1996

In 1996, Vinnie renamed the shop Joe & Vinnie's Pizza — a nod to the Russos who trained him and a statement of his own commitment to consistent quality. He became a U.S. citizen in April 2004.
Made fresh every day

Made fresh every day

The dough is made fresh daily and hand-tossed in the store, topped with a special pizza sauce and Grande Mozzarella. Sub bread is baked in-house from scratch, and Vinnie personally makes the dressing for subs and salads.

From New York–style and Sicilian pies to calzones, strombolis, and pasta dinners — the menu is wide and the prices are fair. The same neighbors who came in 1988 keep coming back.
